Shellharbour Village Medical Practice (SVMP) is a newly formed local business commencing on the 1st November 2012, SVMP management and staff found that the local residence were in need of a modern medical team that not only cared about the patients but were dedicated to the area long term.


Shellharbour Village Medical Practice (SVMP) attained the services of a young female doctor (Dr Nisha) as she and the business both demonstrated the same commitment to patient care and the local community.


Shellharbour Village Medical Practice (SVMP) is a practice that has been designed to resemble the values and beliefs of an traditional family medical practice with all the modern healthcare and modern facilities.

Shellharbour Village Medical Practice (SVMP) is a medical practice business with the principle to provide comprehensive health care needs for patients in one location, along with medical practice the location contains pathology services for patients comfort, all with easy access and welcoming modern environment.

At Shellharbour Village Medical Practice (SVMP) you are able to build relationships with your doctor / nurse and support staff where you will not be treated as just another patient, with the commitment to ensure the best comprehensive medical healthcare and comfort for all patients.

Dr Shabina Nisha

Dr Nisha is a energetic female doctor who lives and works in local Illawarra / Shellharbour area for the past 15+ years, She has wonderful knowledge and understanding of the medical and health needs for the local Illawarra residents from the new born to the elderly.


Dr Nisha's has a comfortable and calm approach when she is working with the community. She has developed an enjoyable rapport and understanding amongst the the people of Shellharbour and the surrounding suburbs.

DR YangMin Bu (koko)

Dr Bu is a general practitioner with over 20 years of medical experience. She has been involved in research work of viral hepatitis and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease at the St George’s Hospital from 2006 to 2012.

Dr Bu is originally from China and moved to Australia in 2003, bringing her unique background and experience to our Practice.

In her leisure time, Dr Bu enjoys reading, sewing, drawing, and painting. She also loves spending time with her two lovely dogs on weekends.

Her dedication to her patients extends beyond her work hours, as she is committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate care. Dr Bu is interested in chronic disease care plan, women’s health, geriatric medicine and common mental health conditions.

Dr Bu performs cervical screening tests (pap smears) and Implanon (contraception implant) insertion and removal.

Dr Bu will be working every Wednesday.
